09.02.11 | Newell works in short film Production just wrapped on David Ojalvo's short film, Blackberries. Ojalvo's first effort at writing and directing, filmed in Santa Monica, California during August, 2010 and will be released early 2012.
06.18.11 | Newell completes filming as 'Judge Backhaus' in "To Kill a Memory" Newell worked for the 3rd time with director, Dustin Rikert and writer/producer William Shockley at Old Tucson Studios in Arizona in the Western starring Kix Brooks of Brooks and Dunn.

02.18.11 | Music Video filming scheduled Moosie Drier will be directing a music video of "Burn Down The Trailer Park", from Cornbread Society Have Another Slice, with Rosemary and Newell and featuring actor, Paul Pape and belly funk dancer, Amelia Patterson. Shoot is scheduled for March 5th.

01.28.10 | Newell Voices Tribute on Grammy Awards Show Newell Alexander has been chosen to record a tribute for broadcast on the the January 31, 2010 Grammy Awards recognizing Neil Young as 2010 "MusicCares Person of the Year". This award will be presented to Neil in acknowledgement of his creativity, advocacy and fiercely independent life and career.
Newell traveled with Neil and performed the Trans Tour opening act as 'Dan Clear' in a closed circuit broadcast from backstage which was projected on a large TV screen onstage as "Trans Tour TV".
Newell also provided voice tracks for Young's film, "Deja Vu".

10.07.09 | Newell Added to Cast of Western Newell will be playingh the 'Sheriff' in "The Gundown", shooting in Tucson, Arizona in November/December, 2009. He will be starring along with Sheree J. Wilson and William Shockley in this Western being produced by Dustin Rikert
02.09.09 | Newell voices Eric Garcetti campaign After doing the voiceovers for the National Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee during the last national elections Newell has signed on to voice the Mayoral campaign for Dem. Eric Garcetti who is running for reelection for the Los angeles City Council.
01.15.08 | Newell completes shooting Sordid Lives...the series and Easy Rider/Scarlet Cross Newell flew from Shreveport to Phoenix after finishing his scenes in Sordid Lives with Olivia Newton-John, Rue McClenahan, Sarah Hunley, David Cowgill, David Steen and long-time Dallas friend, Bob Downs. Newell was back in Phoenix/Scottsdale for the 3rd time to wrap Easy Rider/Scarlet Cross with Sherree J. Wilson, Jeff Fahey and Michael Nouri.
01.02.08 | Rosemary shoots Sordid Lives...the series Rosemary has just returned from Shreveport where she filmed 11 episodes of "Sordid Lives" Logo television's new series scheduled to air summer 2008 with Leslie Jordan, Olivia Newton-John, Ann Walker, Bonnie Bedelia and Rue McClenahan
08.27.07 | Short film completed Newell & Rosemary have completed the filming of a funny new short film, "Operation Desert Jiggle", starring Steve Bridges as 'The President' and Ed Lauder as 'The General" with Access Hollywood's Shaun Robinson as 'The Secretary of State'. The Alexanders play presidential advisors.

08.22.07 | Rosemary's Shoots Again! Pat Brannon at Brady, Brannon & Rich called Rosemary "The Booking machine" when she snagged her 3rd job in 2 weeks. This one's for Senseo Coffee for Director Keith English of Atomic Films. The character's a lonely waitress who yearns for the charming handyman she offers "coffee?". Spot airs in Europe.
08.12.07 | Alexanders booked as a couple on "Las Vegas" Newell and Rosemary have just been cast in the NBC drama "Las Vegas". The episode is "It's Not Easy Being Green". They play a widow & a widower, both from Texas, who are "ready" to start dating. It's worth a watch to see their costumes! Think colorful.
08.10.07 | Rosemary Books National Commercial Watch for Rosemary as the new spokeswoman for "Secure Horizons". Director John Adams of Form Films helmed these 2 new spots which are set to begin airing in October.
08.10.07 | Newell does commercial for DirecTV Newell plays a Green Bay Packer fan headed for retirement in the latest commercials promoting DirecTV's NFL Sunday ticket.
08.09.07 | Olivia Newton-John joins the Alexanders for Sordid Lives - The Series With filming set to begin in October, the cast of Logo's "Sordid Lives"...the television series is primo. Returning from the film are Olivia Newton-John, Delta Burke, Leslie Jordan, Rosemary Alexander, Newell Alexander, Beth Grant, Sarah Hunley, Ann Walker, and coming in as 'Ty' is handsome young Jason Dottley.
